Biography

A 1988 graduate of the historic Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa, Dr. Tatone went on to complete an additional 300 hours of post graduate training in neurology to better diagnose and treat his patients.

In the pursuit of excellence in clinical care, Dr. Tatone went on to study spinal rehabilitation at Charles University Hospital in Prague, Czech Republic, under world-renowned neurologists Vladimir Janda, M.D. and Karel Lewit, M.D. He also trained in the diagnosis and treatment of myofascial pain syndromes under Janet Travell, M.D., the White House physician for John F. Kennedy.

He stays current on innovative methods of care and his practice continues to evolve. Most recently, he has begun using the Impulse IQ adjusting instrument. This method is preferred by most patients as it is gentle yet healing times are quicker and thus requires fewer treatments in most cases. Soft tissue methods of treatment include Active Release Techniques and Graston.

Dr. Tatone’s patients represent a broad spectrum of North Country residents whose conditions are wide ranging. The scope of his practice is not limited to neck or back pain. Headaches, shoulder, hip, arm or leg pain and numbness, whiplash, tendonitis, repetitive motion disorders, sports and work injuries are routinely seen and treated with success. He works closely with the medical community and enjoys their respect.

Inpatient surveys, he is described as kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable in prescribing a beneficial program of care and rehabilitation for their specific condition.

Dr. Tatone volunteers with the Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue Team of Franconia, whose members assist NH Fish and Game officers on a variety of search-and-rescue missions.
